I write contemporary romance about women who know their own minds — even when the world keeps asking them to be smaller.

I’m a debut romance author and the creator of The Nope Books — a series of standalone contemporary romance novellas that subvert popular Chinese short-drama tropes. Each book follows a woman who, at the moment she’s supposed to endure and forgive, simply doesn’t. I find that very romantic.

Before I wrote novels I spent years as a senior web developer — which means I now vibe-code my own author website and think that’s completely normal. When I’m not writing I’m probably baking something with rhubarb, listening to BTS on repeat, or resting. I write through chronic illness, slowly and on purpose.
